At Harvest Christian Academy, the Bible is a required textbook. Our students receive their first, full text Bible, when they enter Primary one (1). Because we place such an emphasis on early proficiency in reading and comprehension, our six year old scholars read the Bible proficiently.
We believe the Holy Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God, It contains absolute truth and according to 2 Timothy 3:16, it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. It is definitely the perfect yardstick by which all wisdom, knowledge, insight and behavior must be measured. Our students are trained to seek knowledge, wisdom and understanding from the Word of God.
By practical and daily application of the Word, they learn to discern right from wrong. Students are led to yield to the daily guidance, direction and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Each day begins with a student led morning devotion, under the guidance of Teachers.
Through praise, worship, prayer, scripture recital and memorization, Students commune with our Lord and savior Jesus Christ before classes begin. At the appropriate age and time, students are led to receive the Gospel of Salvation, where they are encouraged to make personal decisions for Christ.
It is our firm belief that all education must be built on the sound and enduring foundation of a lifestyle of submission and dedication to the Lord through study and application of the Word of God.
