We believe education should do more than prepare children for examinations. It should help them discover their gifts, develop strong character, think critically, lead confidently and use their abilities to make a meaningful difference in the world.
Our approach combines the academic opportunities of the Cambridge curriculum with Christian values, discipline, technology, creativity, hands-on learning and genuine care for every child.

Harvest Christian Academy Ghana's story is rooted in faith, service and a desire to provide children with excellent education built on strong Christian foundations.
The Beginning
Harvest Christian Academy was originally founded in Houston, Texas, under the ministry of Harvest Time Church.
Harvest Comes to Ghana
Pastor Nana Kyei-Amponsah and his wife, Betty, relocated from the United States to Ghana with a vision to establish Harvest Christian Academy and serve a specific educational need.
Raising Modern-Day Daniels
HCA was envisioned as a school where strong academics, Christian character, love, humility and service would work together to prepare children for their God-ordained purpose.
Growing the Harvest Family
Today, HCA continues to develop its academic, technological, sporting, creative and student development programmes while building a stronger community around every learner.

A vision built on service.
In July 2013, my family and I left our comfortable home and life in Houston, Texas, for Ghana, on a mission to establish Harvest Christian Academy.
We envisioned a school that would be strong academically while remaining firmly grounded in the Word of God — a place where directors, teachers and staff love students and their families and demonstrate that love through humility and service.
Our mission is to mentor, nurture and raise modern-day Daniels: children of strong spirit, character and love for God who excel in every area of academics.
We want our students to recognise and perfect their God-given talents so they can go into their world and serve with wisdom and excellence.
