At Harvest Christian Academy, our programs enhance learning opportunities for all students, by recognizing and celebrating each child’s individual unique academic, social and cultural strengths and interests. Students experience lessons that promote critical thinking through small group instruction, hands-on activities and other research-based learning and teaching strategies that are relevant to life’s experiences. According to research from Dr. Richard D. Jones of the International Center for Leadership in Education, “simply telling or encouraging students to engage themselves in their class work is seldom enough. The engagement-based learning and teaching (EBLT) approach provides the foundation for developing and strengthening student engagement and the overall learning process. This foundation is built through specific principles, habits, skills, and strategies.”

Accra abounds with many options for private schools, but our small class sizes, focused on individual needs to prepare students for admission and success in the nation’s best secondary and tertiary schools, sets our school apart. Most importantly, Harvest is a Christian school, and our Christ-centered environment helps students find their identity in Christ. At Harvest, our well trained staff and pastoral team create such a loving, nurturing and enabling environment, that allows our young scholars to both recognize and perfect their God-given gifts and talents, that will allow them to go into their world and serve in Godly wisdom and excellence.
