Our Secondary is divided into Lower Secondary and Upper Secondary .
Cambridge Lower Secondary is typically for learners aged 11 to 14 years.
Cambridge Upper Secondary is typically for learners aged 14 to 16 years. It offers learners two routes: Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O Level.
The entry -level into the Lower Secondary School is Year 7, and in the first three years, our students are introduced to more advanced studies in English, Mathematics, Sciences and other subjects. At the end of the three years, our students sit for the Checkpoint Examination. The Checkpoint Examination is a standardized examination carried out to helps understand their strengths and weaknesses – in preparation for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exam and Cambridge O Level.
After the Checkpoint Examination, our students spend the next three years preparing for the IGCSE exam and O Level.
At the end of Year 11, your child will sit for the IGCSE exam or O level which is conducted by the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES).
With about ten subjects to choose from, including English, mathematics and science, our lower and upper secondary programme provides excellent foundations for the next stage of education, as well as plenty of opportunities to develop creativity, expression and personal wellbeing in a variety of ways.
